Terry Pratchett is my favorite author because of his wit and wonderful view of the universe.
This is a journal. I like the page set up and the grammar was consistent with the Igor character. How they were to get along in a different society was hilarious.
With 2015 right around the corner I bought 2 of these - one as a gift and one for me. It is a great size - a bit smaller than many desktop diaries so it fits really easily on my busy desk - and provides me the upcoming year full of Pratchett Igors! While not sized for a pocket, it does fit in most of my purses; keep in mind that it is a hardback so carrying it means a bit more weight on the shoulder.
I know everyone wants a piece of Discworld to take into the future, but this kind of thing is no answer. I wouldn't care if Pratchett's name wasn't on it.
Nothing really here to indicate Terry Pratchett had anything to do with it personally.
Looking forward to spending the year with this nicely bound, beautifully produced diary. I already love the humorous sidebars and the artwork is superb. A must-have for the Terry Pratchett fan.
You know, I usually adore the Discworld novels, this is the first of their date books I've seen, and I'm unimpressed. It's like the artist didn't read any of the pertinent passages about Igors. It's well made, sturdy and all that, but it does not fit. In My Not So Humble Opinion.
